Jungle
From Killstreak Wiki · Last edited 7 August 2026
Jungle is an Arena map set in tropical ruins, built around a central temple complex surrounded by dense vegetation and water. The temple sits at the middle of the map and most fights end up happening around it. Limited long sightlines and constant elevation changes push the action into close and mid range.
Overview
Jungle is built around a single dominant landmark, which makes it easy to learn and hard to control. The temple is the strongest position on the map and everyone knows it, so holding it means holding it against everyone.
Geography
The map is divided into three primary zones: a southern lowland area (Sunken Gate), a central elevated ruin (Temple Core), and a northern flank route (Vine Pass). Most player movement converges on Temple Core, as it contains the highest concentration of loot and the most recognizable landmark. Vegetation is dense throughout Jungle, reducing visibility at longer ranges. Stone paths, water channels, and temple walls provide the main sources of hard cover.
Points of interest
Jungle contains three commonly recognized points of interest. These names are used in community discussion and map guides, but are not always displayed in-game.
Sunken Gate
Region: SouthLoot tier: Low–medium
A flooded stone entrance marked by broken idols and shallow water. One of the quieter landing areas on the map, with loot spread along the outer path toward the temple.
Temple Core
Region: CenterLoot tier: High
The central landmark of Jungle. A half-submerged temple structure with interior corridors, upper ledges, and multiple entry points. Commonly used as the main point of interest in Battle Royale matches.
Vine Pass
Region: NorthLoot tier: Low
A narrow path running behind the ruins, partially covered by vegetation. Connects the northern edge of the map to Temple Core and is often used for rotations during storm movement.
| Name | Region | Loot tier |
|---|---|---|
| Sunken Gate | South | Low–medium |
| Temple Core | Center | High |
| Vine Pass | North | Low |
Gameplay
In Battle Royale, Jungle supports standard solo, duo, and squad formats. Because of the map's layout, early-game fights frequently occur around Temple Core, while later rotations often pass through Vine Pass when the storm closes toward the center. The map's verticality makes high ground around the temple valuable in the final circles, though multiple entrances to the structure can expose players holding the area. Weapons with strong close-range performance are commonly favored, but mid-range weapons remain viable along the outer paths. ## Storm behavior Storm paths on Jungle are not fixed. When the safe zone shifts north or south, Vine Pass and the outer ruins become important rotation routes between early and mid-game.
